About SportsScorer
A free tournament platform for grassroots sport in India — built so a local cricket tournament can run like a professional one.
What SportsScorer is
SportsScorer lets anyone organize a tournament end to end: create it, invite teams, generate fixtures automatically, score matches live, and share public pages that anyone can follow — no app install, no login. Cricket, football, volleyball and badminton are all live: cricket is scored ball-by-ball with full scorecards, partnerships and an audit trail, football logs goals, cards and shootouts, and volleyball and badminton go rally by rally.
Scoring keeps working when the network doesn't. A scorer at a ground with patchy signal can keep recording every ball offline, and everything syncs when the connection returns. Standings, net run rate, and knockout progression update automatically, and every player builds a career profile with stats and match history across tournaments.
Who it's for
- Organizers — create a tournament in three formats (knockout, league, or groups then knockout), approve team registrations, schedule across days and grounds, and add co-organizers to share the load.
- Scorers — score an assigned match ball-by-ball from a phone, with undo and offline tolerance.
- Captains and players — manage rosters, get added by phone number even before signing up, and keep a career record of every innings.
- Everyone watching — open a shared link and see live scores update without refreshing, no account needed.
Built in India, for grassroots sport
Most tournament software is built for leagues with budgets. SportsScorer is built for the Sunday tennis-ball tournament, the office cup, and the local club league — the cricket that actually fills India's grounds. It works on Android and on the web with an identical feature set, signs you in with just a phone number and OTP, and is free to use.
